Archived at the RBSA Birmingham following submission to the candidates exhibition. Painted on rough watercolour paper. Recalls earlier decades on the lower Tyne at South Shields and attempts to convey the atmosphere of a dirty working river always connected with ship construction and repair, the dirt, smoke and never ending noise of working environments like this. Done on rough surfaced watercolour paper with strong contrasting tones.
Picture size 14" x 20". Not for Sale
