Painted on rough watercolour paper. Began as a demo. at Ludlow Art Society and later worked on to bring it up to a finished condition. As well as a terrific feel of space, distance and the atmosphere of a clear day, I was particularly drawn to the light catching the rooftops of the houses in contrast to the surrounding darker tones of the land.
